This fall we will be having decorative painting classes on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.  These are great times to take a class as there are so many husbands doing their "couch potato" thing and watching sports on and Monday & Wednesday evenings.  Students enjoy attending a nice class, learning some new things, having a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and treat, and then going home with something wonderful to show their family that they made themselves!

The class fee for the art classes is $12.00.  Each painting class has a material fee that changes with the project being taught. You are encouraged to bring your own brushes, paper towels, wax paper, paint shirt or apron, and any other supplies that you use for painting.

The shop sells wet pallets, water basins, brushes, stylus, see-through rulers, varnishes, crackling mediums, and lots of other painting mediums. The shop furnishes the paints for the project being taught, a color picture, directions, and patterns for the project. ALL CLASS SURFACES MUST BE PURCHASED AT RASPBERRY PATCH AND THE ONLY SUBSTITUTION CAN BE ANOTHER SURFACE OF SIMILAR SIZE AND COST THAT YOU MIGHT PREFER THAT IS FOR SALE HERE AT THE SHOP. We have many surface available for sale. Sometimes I will allow you to bring in a chair, stool or small table for a special project.

Please look through the following Classes and then call at least A WEEK PRIOR to the class to sign up for one or two of them (or all of them!!!!!!!!)  We have loads of fun and learn lots of painting techniques along the way. This fall we will be learning some faux finishes for backgrounds, flower painting, using brushes that are special for beards, and lots more. AUTUMN MILK BOTTLE

This project can actually be painted on any square bottle. I found an olive oil bottle that works perfectly. We will be painting a checkerboard red and black border at the top and bottom of the design, then a pumpkin and leaves are painted on a buttermilk background. Raffia is tied at the top of the bottle.

FALL LEAVES TRAY

These beautiful leaves in tones of autumn colors will be painted on an oval tray that measures 9” x 19”. The inside measurements are
7 1/2” x 16”. This will be a beautiful
tray to serve your pumpkin desserts on.

HALLOWEEN TREAT BAGS OR HALLOWEEN TOTE

The Halloween treat bags are perfect for giving your grandchildren or children treats in. They are painted on brown paper gift bags and I’ll have orange tissue paper included. I’m doing them for my grandchildren and putting in things like small Halloween hand sanitizer bottles from Bath & Body Works, fall knee high socks, Halloween candy bars from Gertrude Hawk, and some other cute things that teenagers would like.

HALLOWEEN CANVAS
TOTE BAG

The Halloween Tote Bag is painted on a 13 1/2” x 14” canvas bag. It is perfect for you to use during the Halloween holiday for yourself, or your children to carry for Trick or Treating. On the back you could write what your child or grandchild wore and the year.

HOLIDAY SNOWMAN PLATE

This beautiful snowman plate will bring the joy and love of the season into your home. The plate is 11 1/2” diameter with a flat outer surface. Easy to paint and looks great when finished.

COOKIE BAKING DAY WREATH

Making Christmas memories baking cookies is such an important part of the Christmas season. This wreath would look gorgeous on your kitchen door. It is painted on a tin tray that goes into the center of a wreath of your choice that has a 10” to 11” opening in the center. It features cookie cutters and molds, vanilla bottle, rolling pin, and poinsettias on it. You also paint five puffed classic tin heart cookies to go on your wreath. Beautiful!
